About Megan

After spending the last 14 years working in various roles across the Insurance industry, I am now the newest addition to Tasman Insurance Brokers. I have had the pleasure to work alongside Karen in a previous role and could not be more excited to join her team. I have a wide range of insurance knowledge with small to medium businesses previously being my focus. I pride myself on a high level of customer service and am committed to doing what I say, when I say I will do it.

I was born and raised in the Nelson region and live on a small farm in Upper Moutere with my partner and chaotic Vizsla puppy, Strada. My spare time is usually spent outdoors enjoying this beautiful region, whether it be tramping up the side of a mountain or sitting in the sun enjoying a good glass of wine.

I look forward to meeting all of our clients and building long lasting relationships.

I began my insurance career in the early ’90s after moving from Greymouth to Nelson and quickly discovered a real passion for claims. After time in Dunedin, a stint in banking, and raising my family in Oamaru and later Motueka, I’ve made my way back—25 years later—to the industry I’ve always loved.

I’m especially drawn to the detail of policy wording and the puzzle-solving nature of claims. No two days are the same, and I love helping clients understand their cover while working closely with insurers to keep claims running smoothly.

I live in Motueka with my energetic Vizsla, Zala, and make the most of our beautiful beaches and parks. I’m happiest hanging out with my adult kids and being outdoors—fishing, swimming, landscaping—or at a concert, on a Pilates mat, or planning the next adventure.
